Taxation Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Filings: You should have experience in filing returns for income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and federal excise duty, especially in the manufacturing sector.
- Provincial Sales Tax: You need to be knowledgeable about provincial sales tax laws, such as those from the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB).
- Tax Procedures: You should be able to handle the procedures related to tax matters.
- Tax Planning: You will be responsible for finalizing tax planning and related issues.
- Data Management: Efficiently manage data and processes to ensure smooth operations and suggest improvements where needed.
- Business Tax Reports: Complete quarterly and annual tax reports for the business.
- Tax Savings: Identify opportunities for tax savings and suggest ways to reduce tax liabilities.
- Tax Database: Keep the company’s tax database organized and updated.
- Tax Forecasting: Predict future tax obligations and plan accordingly.
- Financial Statements: Assist the Staff Accountant in preparing Financial Statements.
